Gingham

The definition of Gingham is a medium-weight balanced plain-woven fabric typically with striped, check or plaid patterns in white and a bright color made from dyed cotton or cotton-blend yarns.

There is a nostalgia I’m sure for many, and not just me, of school summer dresses. This print more recently has been evident on the catwalk and the high street. Gingham is a beautifully crisp clean print. Fresh white combined with pastel or bright bold colours creates a perfect print for the spring; and moving forward into summer.
