Sometimes it is good to see how our prints look on the final garments. A print should add value to a fabric and the article. Those who do not appreciate this and see prints as a vehicle to shift fabric are not true printers. A good print flows with the fabric and fully uses space, colour and form to create harmony, beauty, surprise and add value to a product. We need to see clothing not as a throw away fleet of fancy but something to treasure, launder and wear over and over again. This is where and why print and pattern play an essential role in the world textiles.
