A collaboration which connects two brands with similar history and values, The North Face x Gucci celebrates the spirit of exploration.
The full The North Face x Gucci collection isn’t on sale until January 22. But worry not; Gucci have released a sneak peak at the collection and it’s enough to make the most avid of city-dweller want to book a camping trip and escape to the great outdoor – while looking totally fabulous of course.
There are the classic goose-feather down padded coats; as well as skirts, shirts and jumpsuits in the same fabric. The outerwear silhouettes are based on original The North Face designs from the 1970s. It is clear to see a 70’s inspiration in the images from the new campaign.
This collection comes at a perfect time as currently ‘The Great Outdoors’ is, for many of us, our only source of exercise and freedom.
Alessandro Michele, Gucci’s creative director, has long championed fashion as ‘a powerful instrument of freedom,’ as the brand said in a statement.
While a full price list is yet to be revealed, prices will start at £135.
