A visit to the shops is now a real luxury. If you are going to go out you want to see some exciting looking rails and visual merchandising – Its like we need it more than ever. I treat myself to a little ‘mooch’ around town – its been a while – and thought I’d let you see some of the lovely prints I discovered.
A lot of textural, floral and of course animal prints. There is a real feeling that the clothes available are more casual and wearable. Luxe loungewear are more the order of the day currently; who needs a christmas party dress right now? I was still pleasantly surprised and found some nice pieces – very classic and some slightly nostalgic/vintage. Maybe thats what we are craving now; certainty – we know florals and animal prints work so lets go with it.

Gorgeous striking colour on a dark ground giving it a more winter feel.
Silhouetted florals is another trend that we have notice. Two colours in a tonal effect or a more contrasting print like this black and white print from Alice Temperley.
Modern Rarity by John Lewis 
This pleated dress give this beautiful print a real 3-D feel and is in gorgeous A/W colours.
We thought this print was a lovely take on a spot print; another trend that is back again. In this case a floral motif has been used, giving it a more organic and less regimented feel.
A tonal snake print from mint velvet, animal has really become a ‘none print’ print.
Reiss 
Pink and Green? actually make for an interesting textural print that is very wearable.
