Dolce&Gabbana for Smeg

Sicilian aesthetics and state of the art technology meet in this collaboration between Dolce&Gabbana and Smeg. Joining creative forces in a truly authentic Made in Italy project, discover Sicily is my Love: a unique collection of domestic appliances created by Smeg with distinct Dolce&Gabbana decorative motifs.
The collection is composed of a slow juicer, blender, toaster (two and four slices), citrus juicer and kettle.

The espresso coffee machine features typical Sicilian decorations and delicate floral motifs. The mixer features typical Sicilian decorations in an explosion of colour and liveliness.

The kettle is characterized by the unique Sicilian cart motifs and colourful patterns. The citrus juicer tells an all-Sicilian story, adorned with different bright and vivacious colours.

This two-slice toaster is decorated with traditional motifs of the famous Sicilian carts. The Blender is characterized by a bright yellow base with traditional Sicilian decorations.

Bright bursts of colour and typical Sicilian fruits define the slow juicer’s decoration. Inspired by beautiful terracotta pots decorated in the style of the Sicilian cart.

Dolce&Gabbana and Smeg have teamed up once again for the design of a special edition of the FAB28 refrigerator, transforming it into a work of art. The two companies belong to two different creative sectors but are united by strong values and a tradition of “Made in Italy” excellence: sharing similar backgrounds rooted in the family and local territory, they have a deep respect for tradition and their creativity allows them to skillfully combine eras, different specialties, and sensibilities.

Sicilian painters, highly skilled in the complex decorative arts and “treasures of the past”, turn refrigerators into unique interpretations of Sicilian folklore. The results of passion, profound creativity and a sense of belonging to their land.
