Hi, there! I’m Alannah, a co-founder and previous member of The Print Affair team. Sarah and I started this blog 2 years ago after meeting at a Company Magazine fashion event – Sarah wanted to talk about print design and I wanted to blog, match made in heaven!

As you may know, after seeing our job advert, I’m sadly moving on. I owe so much to The Print Affair – it helped me to realise my love of writing, blogging and social media.  This love helped me become the Digital Marketing Intern for the outdoor discovery app, ViewRanger, and they recently offered me the permanent position of Marketing Assistant.

My typical day starts with checking our social media accounts for comments and messages, as well as looking at what we’ve been tagged in on Instagram (my favourite part of the day – I get to scroll through lots of stunning landscape photos). I could be doing anything for the rest of the day from creating blog posts and meeting about new app features to organising our email marketing, or planning the social media schedule for the week. 

I wouldn’t have gotten to this position without working on the blog with the most amazing team – Sarah, Alice and Laura are incredible and every experience was invaluable. Editing posts, choosing imagery, writing, researching, interviewing – it’s all so important in this new digital age.

Sophie, our new writer, graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Textiles. She’s worked in many different aspects of print design and will bring an exciting new dimension to the team.

I wish every luck to The Print Affair team – it’s a wonderful blog that will continue to do many great things in the print design world! And who knows, you may see my face pop up again from time to time.
