For Spring/Summer 2016 florals are very feminine and romantic. The prints have a vintage feel with dusty shades of nude, blush, buttery yellow, corn flower and lilacs on soft ivory, cream and silver grey grounds.
The flowers, whether spaced blooms, mixed sizes or bobbin sized heads, appear to have been lovingly laundered and worn. Whether painterly or a botanical rendition the edges are soft and have the feeling of having been well loved.
Leafy tropicals with an urban twist are less obvious and coloured in a more muted palette as camouflages, sometimes with a pop of colour.
A move on from the tile print theme is the geometric wood block print whose imperfections and soft edges compliment the universal feeling of a more delicate and less obvious print. There is a predominance of blues with pastel highlights.
